'Patriot Glass & Mirror has been using Optimumcut-1D Professional for about 4-5 years now. This program allows us to optimize our 24’-3” stick material, giving us our best cutting yield. Optmumcut-1D is a great assistant to our storefront, curtainwall and sunshade fabrication.

We have recently started using the Optimumcut-1D software as a bidding tool, which gets us the most accurate material quantities, making us very competitive with our job pricing.

We have researched other material optimizing programs and Optimumcut-1D out performs any other program out there.

I would recommend this program for anyone who cuts large amounts of stick material. The technical support is top notch with very prompt assistance.

Admiral Glass have used Optimumcut-1D Professional to calculate optimal material yield, purchase material and create optimized cutting lists to manufacture the Granite Westchase 2 building. A 14 story full height curtainwall.

For mullions, I utilized multiple stock length sizes for the optimizer, from which I reduced the actual order to account for minimum runs of metal.

I adjusted with Optimumcut-1D Professional accordingly after the order was finalized. For other shapes of shorter lengths, I opted for the single best solution from a choice of multiples at 1" increments (Stock Optimizer Function) over the range available from the extruder and that would fit our shop conditions. I much appreciate your help in setting up the use of the program.
